The system installed aims to pre-treat the wastewater produced during the harvest period when the COD increases significantly. The goal is to lighten the organic load treated by the biological downstream, and without our installation the load would have been doubled.
The system installed is designed to treat the wastewater produced by the Brewery. Initially, the plant was designed to serve a biological downstream; during the installation phase, it was discovered that a final filtration phase was sufficient to guarantee compliance with the parameters established by DL 152/2006.
The objective of the tests carried out was to test the possibility of increasing the capacity of the treatment systems that the company already has in anticipation of an increase in production capacity. The tests carried out using our mobile plant gave better results than expected.
The installed system provides for an oxidative phase pushed by one of our plants followed by a downstream biological phase of limited dimensions. All this is done in order to ensure the drainage into surface waters in compliance with the parameters established by DL 152/2006. The installed plant is currently being doubled.
